Required Qualifications
- Strong background in computational methods, with expertise in machine learning techniques (e.g., supervised/unsupervised learning, neural networks, deep learning, or statistical modeling).
- Proficiency in programming languages for machine learning research, such as Python or R.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries, including TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and evaluate machine learning models, ideally applied to linguistic or phonological data.
Application Materials
When reaching out to Professor Do, please include:
- A writing sample or a copy of your undergraduate/master’s thesis. This is the most critical component of your application, as it showcases your research interests and alignment with our lab’s focus.
- Your research sample should highlight your ability to conduct rigorous research, preferably incorporating computational or data analysis components.
Next Steps
