LING3002 – Extended Essay

Course Description

This is a one-semester capstone course for individual research on a topic chosen by the student in consultation with staff, in preparation for possible postgraduate work and is offered for majors only.

Enrolment procedure

• 1. Students intending to study this course are required to send a proposal to the course coordinator at yuyanxue@hku.hk and name a potential supervisor before 30 Nov, 2025.
• 2. The proposals will be shared with all faculty members who can agree (or not) to supervise any of them.
• 3. Approved students will be enrolled in this course.
